Science Experiment {with a bottle}

We did an experiment with a bottle.

First we observed that the bottle had air inside it.

Next we talked about what would happen once we poured the boiling hot water into the plastic bottle.

Then we poured the hot water into  the plastic bottle and screwed on the lid.

We noticed that as we poured the hot water into the bottle, the bottle slowly lost its shape.

We learnt that the air from the outside of the bottle was pushing more strongly on the outside of the bottle  than the air on the inside.
