On Tuesday afternoon Mrs Thomsen came to visit from Northpower.

She came and told us about power.
If you get stranded in your car you don’t get electrocuted because the rubber tyres stop the electricity from getting through.

on Tuesday afternoon Mrs Thomsen came to
our school and taught pod 7 about  Northpower.
You never want to tip water on a
power line because you will get an electric
shock.
Mrs Thomsen showed her keynote
about power to pod 7.
There was a video about a substation
that got all on fire.If you crash into a power pole
and the power line comes off it  could cause
a big fire. And if you touch the ground and the
car you will get  electrocuted and die.

  5. Hi Rohan, thanks for sharing your learning about electricity and how you can be safe in your car. We have noticed that you have carried this learning on when you tell us at your new information home, and while we are out and about driving around. Your understanding of how electricity works is awesome. There are a lot of roadworks and people managing the electricity lines around town, and it's nice to hear you tell us more about what's going on as we see and talk about our environment and community. Now you are talking about nuclear power so we are having to step it up and make sure you are even more informed! We love how you are so interested in how things work. We are enjoying your learning journey and thnaks for sharing it with us online. Love, Mum. xx
