Kiwi Information Talk

Today we were very lucky to have Shirley Peterson from Kiwi North come to visit us. She talked to us about the Kiwi that are going to be released into the Pukenui Forest next month. We also learnt about how to keep kiwi safe from predators and traps, looked at a stuffed kiwi, touched some kiwi feathers and kiwi footprints. There was so much amazing information that Shirley shared with us, she even helped to answer our questions about kiwi. This was such a great session and we learnt so much!!
